illari Pro 6D 360° Cog™

Barbed PDO Cog Thread Sutures for Face and Body

ILLARI PRO 6D COG™ THREAD SUTURES use 3-Types of blunt cannulas to carefully insert an absorbable barbed thread to a deep, subcutaneous layer of skin. illari Barbed (Cog) sutures are a dual-layer cutting method of PDO suture that ensures a stronger anchoring effect of the skin than the regular slice cutting barbed threads. There are three varieties of Blunt Tip needle type available for all facial and body indications as well as for different tissue types (i.e., fibrous tissue).

ILLARI PRO 6D COG™ THREAD SUTURES have a dual purpose (fixing part and support part) so that its effect can last for a longer time than other products that have no support. Fixing part with cog is located inside of cannula, so there is no tissue damage when inserting into skin. Bi-Directional barbs in opposite directions make for superior strength within tissues.

Topical and injectable anesthesia is strongly recommended for the treatment such as Lidocaine and Epi. Swelling and edema may last 3-5 days after treatment and transient bruising may occur but is different for each patient and treatment indication.

Topical anesthesia is strongly recommended for the patient during placement of the PDO Threads. Swelling and edema may last 3-5 days after treatment and transient bruising may occur but is different for each patient and treatment indication.

illari Pro Cog V1 & V2™

Barbed PDO Cog Thread Sutures for Face and Body

ILLARI PRO COG V1 & V2™ THREADS use a blunt cannula to carefully insert an absorbable barbed thread to deep, subcutaneous layers of skin. illari Cogs come in (2) Types – V1 and V2 depending upon preference and are bi-directional barbs in opposite directions creating superior strength within tissues.

ILLARI PRO COG V1 & V2™ THREADS use a combination of an 18G blunt cannula and a molded cog thread. Molding Cog Type threads are made by being pressured into the specially designed molds without damage. In this manner our threads show superior tensile strength and anchoring effect compared to the regular cutting type cog threads.

Topical and injectable anesthesia is strongly recommended for the treatment such as Lidocaine and Epi. Swelling and edema may last 3-5 days after treatment and transient bruising may occur but is different for each patient and treatment indication.
